Unlike my previous poems that I have posted here, which is an iambic tetrameter (though without the iambs), this poem is an iambic PENTAmeter (with the iambs apparently).
This poem is inspired by the book I am currently reading for my Literature class: Geoffrey Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales.
Enjoy!

“Love Story”
On one eventful day, I saw her there
She’s sitting all alone without a friend
As I looked on, I saw that she was fair
And so I came to her whom I’ll befriend
Preferable is this than solitaire
So after many days and months we’ve spent
We finally became the perfect pair
